Reservation & Payment
After discussing the booking by telephone or email, you will receive a reservation confirmation from us via email. We ask that you check this and confirm your agreement by email.
The reservation confirmation becomes final upon receipt of the deposit. The deposit is 30% to 50% of the total rental amount; the exact amount is determined by the accommodation owners. The final balance must be settled 6 weeks prior to the start of your stay. We will send you an email reminder 2 weeks before the final payment is due.
In the case of a provisional booking, the accommodation will be held for you for 3 days up to a maximum of 1 week, depending on the accommodation and the requested dates. Upon expiry of the provisional period without any further notice from you, we are entitled to make the accommodation available for booking again.
For amendments made less than 6 weeks prior to the start of an already reserved stay, an administration fee of €60 per accommodation will be charged.
Cancellation
Due to the nature of the service (booking holiday accommodation), the statutory cooling-off period/right of withdrawal does not apply. Should you unexpectedly be forced to cancel with a demonstrably valid reason, you will be liable for the following cancellation charges:
- Cancellation more than 6 weeks before the start of the stay: 50% of the total rental amount.
- Cancellation between 6 and 2 weeks before the start of the stay: 75% of the total rental amount.
- Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the start of the stay: 100% of the total rental amount.
We strongly advise taking out comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance, as we are not obliged to refund any payments already made in the event of a cancellation.
Should your booking subsequently be cancelled by us and you have paid part or all of the rental amount, you will naturally receive a full refund of this amount.
Liability
Under no circumstances do we accept any responsibility towards guests for personal injury, or loss of or damage to their property, however caused. Guests are at all times responsible for any damage to the accommodation or theft of any property from the accommodation during their entire stay.
Responsibility
The person making the payment (or deposit) for the reservation confirmation/invoice is and remains responsible for their fellow travellers and must ensure that they are aware of the booking conditions and the resulting obligations. In the event that the booking conditions are not observed, we reserve the right to refuse the guest access to the accommodation.
The following points are of particular importance in this regard:
- The number of guests must never exceed the number stated on the reservation confirmation, unless this has been approved in consultation with us.
- The guest must adhere to the conditions stated in the property description.
- Pets are not permitted.
- Upon departure, you must leave the accommodation clean and tidy. This also means that the rubbish has been properly disposed of and the BBQ is clean! Otherwise, additional charges will apply.
- On the day of arrival, you can access the accommodation from 16:00 or 17:00. On the day of departure, you must vacate the accommodation by 10:00, unless stated otherwise on the booking form.
Security Deposit
A security deposit is required, which you can pay upon arrival or via bank transfer along with the rental amount. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the rental period, subject to deductions for any damage or costs for additional services (for example, we may charge additional cleaning fees if necessary). A deposit paid via bank transfer will be refunded to your account within 2 weeks.
During your stay in the holiday home, you as the guest are fully liable for the rented property, its furnishings, and all items belonging to it. ALL DAMAGE MUST BE REPORTED TO US IMMEDIATELY. You may be able to recover these costs through your travel insurance. We highly recommend taking out an appropriate policy.
